The Buffalo-Niagara Falls Metropolitan Area encompasses two counties -- Erie and Niagara -- in the northwest part of Western New York. It includes 64 municipal jurisdictions (6 cities and 37 towns containing 21 incorporated villages) and all or part of four Indian reservations.
