Counties in the Eastern Tier
The Eastern Tier encompasses three counties -- Orleans, Genesee and Wyoming -- along the eastern edge of Western New York. It includes 59 municipal jurisdictions (1 cities and 39 towns containing 19 incorporated villages) and part of one Indian reservation. Two of these counties, Orleans and Genesee, are included within the Rochester Metropolitan Area.
